Meghan Farren joins Asda as Chief Customer Officer

Meghan Farren will be joining Asda as Chief Customer Officer in October.

Meg joins from Yum! Brands where she is currently Chief Marketing Officer for KFC UK&I. She has been with the business since 2011.

Meg began her career at JPMorganChase, then spent five years in strategy consulting at Marakon across various retail and FMCG sectors. She followed this with roles in sales, category management and brand marketing at Gu Puds before joining KFC as Innovation Director. She is also a Fellow of the Marketing Academy.

As Asda’s Chief Customer Officer, Meg will lead the development and strategy of Asda’s total customer proposition, marketing and management of its brands - leading a team of over 250 colleagues based in Leeds and Lutterworth. She takes over the role from Anna-Maree Shaw who returned to her native Australia earlier this year.
